Barista

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our team at the Mini Me Mango Cafe' in Bundoora, VIC. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers in a casual work environment. This is a casual role is for Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 6am starts.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare and serve a range of coffee and non-coffee beverages to a high standard

2. Ensure excellent customer service and a positive customer experience using POS SYSTEM

3. Maintain a clean and organised work area

4. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment, assist other staff members when necessary.

5. Help with opens, eg putting out food ensuring lights etc are on.

6. Collaborate with the wider team to contribute to the smooth operation of the café

What we're looking for

1. Relevant experience as a Barista, in a busy environemnt, can work smoothly alone and with assist if needed.

2. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and the ability to produce consistently high-quality beverages

3. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

4. Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

5. A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
