Cafe Manager / Barista: new cafe opening in Burwood

Greenwood Business Park, 301 Burwood Highway, Burwood VIC

We're opening a brand new cafe at Greenwood Business Park and looking for one person to lead it from day one: an experienced specialty barista who'll also run the store. If you want to build something from the ground up and own both the coffee and the operation, this is it.

What you'll do

* Run day-to-day operations, opening and closing

* Train the team to our standards and lead by example on service

* Keep product quality high, every cup and every plate

* Manage cash handling and daily reconciliation

* Barista duties, including latte art

* Build a respectful, collaborative team

What we're looking for

* 2+ years' specialty coffee experience

* Comfortable handling 4 to 5 kg of coffee a day solo

* Able to dial in and correct machine and grinder settings

* Consistent, high-quality espresso and milk with latte art

* Confident supervising a small team and working autonomously

* Excellent presentation and customer service
